In order to implement the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the meeting of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee on July 30, implement the requirements of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Government and the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology and other departments, strengthen the communication between the association and member units, and understand the operation status of key equipment manufacturing enterprises in Chengde City, from July 30 to August 1, Chen Jianmin, President of the Provincial Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association, Li Yumin, Secretary of the Party Branch, Zhou Dapeng, Secretary-General and other comrades, successively went to Chengde County Jinlong Conveyor, Chengde High-tech Zone Rehe Crony Instrument, Suken Galaxy Connecting Rod and Shuangluan District Xinxin Machinery Co., Ltd. visited and investigated, during which 4 symposiums were held and in-depth exchanges were conducted with the heads of 19 enterprises.

Chen Jianmin said that the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee was a very important meeting held at a critical time when the construction of a powerful country and the great cause of national rejuvenation were comprehensively promoted with Chinese path to modernization. On July 30th, General Secretary Xi Jinping presided over a meeting of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee to analyze and study the current economic situation and deploy economic work for the second half of the year.

Chen Jianmin said that the equipment manufacturing industry is the backbone of the manufacturing industry and an important "engine" to drive industrial growth. In the first half of this year, the added value of equipment manufacturing industry in our province increased by 14.4% year-on-year, contributing 34.5% to the province's industrial growth, accounting for 19.2% of the province's industrial proportion, and driving the province's industrial growth by 2.6 percentage points; Completed operating revenue of 5561.2, a year-on-year increase of 7.2%; Achieved a profit of 17.01 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 23.3%. Since the change of leadership in May last year, the association has continuously strengthened its own construction, increased its work efforts, deepened the "four services", and achieved new results in multiple tasks. Both social evaluation and member satisfaction have significantly improved.

In the second five months of this year, the association will undertake the task of organizing exhibits for the 24th China International Industry Expo in Hebei Province and the "Technology Industry Financial Integration" docking activity for the equipment manufacturing industry in the Beijing Tianjin Hebei region. It will also organize a vice president unit cooperation docking meeting to promote upstream and downstream cooperation among equipment manufacturing enterprises in our province, as well as equipment updates, cost reduction, and efficiency improvement. Organize enterprises to participate in the application for intelligent manufacturing pilot demonstration projects, revision of industry standard group standards, evaluation of vocational skill levels, and application technology skills competitions. We hope that member enterprises can strengthen communication and contact with the association's secretariat and make good use of the multiple service platforms built by the association for members. The association will earnestly practice the purpose of being member oriented and service-oriented, adhere to problem oriented and effect oriented approaches, work together with member enterprises, synchronize with government departments, strengthen party building guidance, transform work style, improve work, strengthen services, and enhance capabilities.
