A notable feature of type A angular contact ball bearings is the way they are assembled. During assembly, one side shoulder of a bearing ring is cut. This design takes advantage of the temperature difference between the inner and outer rings, allowing the outer ring to be assembled with the inner ring, the ball and the cage.
